Default fuel pump

i have a 92 accord lx. i have a bad fuel pump and need to take it off. how do you take it off without having to take out the fuel tank out?

Isn't there a round access panel under the rear seat or under the trunk-floor carpeting? Some year have that, other years you do have to drop the tank.

On the 92, I think that access panel is for the fuel sending unit (the float that tells you how full the tank is). The pump has to be removed by dropping the tank.

Check that access panel first, but that is what I remember. Let us know what you find.

Here's a picture...
Looks like the gauge sender is on the right-side of the car (#31).
Fuel pump on the left side (#62).
There's a cover #34 but hard to tell from this picture which side it's on.

so i took my car to the shop n the honda tech did not even look at it n said it,s fuel pump,then the guy that was lookin at it say he does not know wat rong.there is no code blinkin i tried just about every thing to find out n can,t seem to work. i know a little bout car n my buddy a machanic for 12 years n can,t find the freekin problem.when i switch the spark wire it stay runing rough with out givin gas.that is not a fuel pump problem.can it b the ecu,i don,t know , thanks for your help .
