Default Gas mileage 2011 Accord

So I checked my gas mileage today for the first time since I purchased my 2011 Accord EX I-4 with 79K. It came out to be 24mpg around town with a light foot. I'm in SC using Shell gas in the flat lands.
Is this about right for an auto tranny? Tranny is flawless and up shifts to high gear most of the time turning about 1600rpms.

Would full syn oil make any difference? I just thought I'd get better mpg.

Thanks.

~24 mpg is pretty good, just using data found online.

I don't think full syn oil is going to get you anything you would notice - as always "checking" the oil level is just as important as changing the oil.

Proper tire pressure is another thing to keep in mind - see owners manual of door jam sticker for what it should be on your car. I like that the 2016 Pilot I have displays the tire pressure on the info screen - helps me keep an eye on it without really doing anything.
