i think my gas guage is not working. 10 minutes into driving it after i filled it up it went down a quarter of a tank. im gonna keep track of how many miles i get with this full tank. does anyone know how many gallons it holds? also would having exhaust and intake affect the gas mileage a whole lot?


also sometimes i smell gas. why is that? i didn't see a leak.

 

the tank holds 17.1 gallons. Having an exhaust and intake wouldn't affect the gas milage enough to make it go do that fast. I also have a 98 v6 and I get 300 or more miles per tank.

 

why do i sometimes smell gas?

 

Cody my friend.. the first thing you need to do is stop doing or trying to do those BURNOUTS when you take off,,
if you smell gas you have to see if there is a leak anywhere,, chk under the hood, ( injectors, lines ) and at the tank for fuel leaks
