Didnt really know what section to put this in so I chose here.......

So I spend almost 2 entire paychecks trying to repair that thing of a car that I had bought...yes, pissed at the guy who sold it to me...pissed at myself for not looking around more for a better car in the first place...and real pissed at that car in the first place.....

so most of you had read or seen the thread where I had listed out what was wrong with it....well I had the window replaced, rebuilt the alternator and was hunting for a decent deal on a distributor (hey, got bills and a kid to take care of....first things first ya know! LOL) so I am heading out for a service call and the entire car goes haywire on me....all my gauges flashed REALLY bright, then speedo and tach went to full on (all the way to the right with the needles) and the the CEL comes back on, the battery light came on again and wouldnt go out (again...meaning the alt just died out again) and then I couldnt run past 2000 rpms....and being on the highway at the time....and we drive fast out here.....and to top it all off......window got broken out again, bt this time there wasnt even a stereo in it....I had removed the old stereo, subs...everything...in fact I am giving the stereo headunit to my ex because her stereo isnt working very good and I have no use for it so might as well hook her up (yea, I still like and love her) I finally decided I had had ENOUGH....ENOUGH IS ENOUGH...I traded it in......I got $1200 for the trade value (actual cash on it too...I was pretty shocked) and that was with the stuff all broken on it including the window that was busted out.....LOL.

So I ultimately wound up choosing to get a 2003 Cavalier 2dr (I wanted a coupe for a long time and till I get back with my ex and have a need for a 4dr car again....)LS sport...I dont really know whats SPORT about it other than I got the 16" chrome wheels and i THINK a bit sportier suspension....but since I have never owned a Cavalier....couldnt tell you.....but it does come with the new 2.2 Ecotec motor....and so far runs really good....so I am happy for the time being.

Decided I will sell the subs/amp combo out of my Accord and they are sitting in my room in my place....so if you guys know anybody that wants those...lemme know....I will still stop in and check from time to time.....

thanks for all the help with that car....I guess I should have shopped around a lot more as I have a friend that bought one and he paid less and got a MUCH better car than I did. oh well...pays to shop huh?
