Getting Hood Screws off

Getting Hood Screws off
Ok on my Honda Accord 2003 EX, I have black plastic protectors all around the hood. They are all screws, however they do not just "screw" off. I believe they may be snapped in, but they do have a phillips notch in them.
Does anyone know the best way to get them off?

if they got the phillip head then they are meant to be unscrewd .......while unscrewing them put a slight pressure upwards and make sure the lower part is not turning,,they should come off......

I took a picture and circled the screws... I tried unscrewing them with no luck. I have an EX not an LX, I made a typo there.

yep. the head is probably stripped and hard to remove ,, you might have to pry them off,, they might snap,( break ) and need to get new ones ..
but they do come off using a phillip screwdriver...
