Default Good 5 spd MT Fluid

Good 5 spd fluid to use. Car is a 4 cyl 2.2liter 1992; 213,000 miles.
in nice condition maintained by prior owner's dealer service.

I re-changed my tranny fluid based solely on posted recommendation from moderator JimBlake last month.

Redline makes good fluid too, but it's not that much cheaper than Honda MTF.

NO FLUID is gonna fix something that's actually broke.

So found his Pennzoil Synchromesh at local Autozone for $8.99/qt.

So at a super early interval, I changed the 5 spd trans fluid to this Pennzoil Synchromesh. 2 qts.

Whole trans is smooth shifting, even better than before. 2nd gear synchro is happy now.
Don't know how it would work w/ a V-6, but my 2.2l MT likes it.

Took your suggestion JimBlake
