Default Good deal?

Hey Gang,
Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but thought I'd start here and hope to get some advice. A buddy of mine has a 89 Accord LX that he is selling. It's been basically sitting in his garage and rarely driven for the last 10 years. He has taken excellent care of it and everything works perfectly. It has 65-70 k 1 owner miles. He's looking to get 2400 bucks. I'm a little concerned about seals, gaskets, etc with it being a 20 year old car....but it is a sweet car. Should I buy or pass? I'm not going to haggle....so it is 2400 firm.

TIA for your replies.

I would pass. That car better be absolutley perfect and not a blemish in the paint or a scratch, imo. But to each his own...

$1500 would be fair...if it is in really good shape.
