Good Idle, Loping Excelleration no power?
Has anyone seen this issue? My 92 Accord lx cranks and idles good. 2 out of 10 times it runs perfect. The rest .. when i give it gas it lops up and down , but the rpms still rise with each rev. Then when i let off the pedal it goes back to idleing fine at 900 RPMs. this is what i have found so far.
TPS has 5.4 volts to it... and ohms out good closed to open. per manual
Map has 5.4 volts to it... and changes with vaccum... Per manual
cleaned IACV and it seems to be working fine
Fuel pressure with vaccum on it is 34 lbs and rises slightley when reved.
Checked Timing ...good.
Replaced Plugs ...
Replaced Fuel Filter.
Any Ideas Will Help.

You checked for codes just for grins and found none.....correct?
You cleaned the FITV and Air Boost Valve.......?
Tune up items (cap, rotor, inspect wires, ect) are up to date, correct.
When you cleaned the IAC, you did bleed the air out of the cooling system.
Does this happen only once the car is "warm"? Or at anytime.
