Default H23a timing help!!!

Had to do some work to the head and thought I timed it right. Started it up it idled fine but when you put it in gear and go to take off it has no power and sputters. Any idea what it could be?

So you took the head off? Does it sound off when idling? Got a timing light?

Take off the upper timing cover & verify the cam timing is correct. You don't need a timing light for that.
