Default Harmonic Balancer Bolt

Hey guys im into cars and stuff but not that great at Mechanical issues. i have a friend who does this stuff for me. I just had a question about a bolt on the harmonic balancer.

A bolt broke on my harmonic balancer.

Questions

How does this affect my car?

Can i drive it safely?

How much to fix? and how..

I got a 1992 accord lx.

That is a very important bolt. It holds the gears for your timing belt in place. Can you explain exactly what happened? Did the harmonic balancer fall off, did the car stall? Did the bolt shear (the threads are still in the crankshaft) or did it just fall out?

If your belt jumped, then you will have some valve damage and will have to pull and repair the cylinder head.
