Exclamation Hello! I have a problem!

Hi all, I have a problem with my 2000 Honda Accord EX V6-VTECH AUTO. I have a horrid oil leak. I went to another mechanic to see if he knew anything. He got me to spit out $175.00, big mistake. Anyways I thought he fixed it as it ran somewhat better as my service light went off. (I took a big trip I had never before with this car due to its oil leak) So I go back and he puts TWO QUARTS of oil in my car. This doesn't seem right. I don't know if he has fixed, never has had this problem before.

Sources of oil leaks are valve cover, oil filter, oil pan, crankshaft seal, camshaft seals, and oil drain plug.

There are many places an oil leak may occur. Do you intend to try to repair yourself? If not, you should spend some time finding a reliable mechanic. Suggest trying Angies List and look for all A reviews.

good luck

Does the car actually leak oil? Do you see spots in the driveway and such.
