I put in a new coil tonight and it fired right up! I can't thank both of you enough for all the expert help, I don't think I would have figured it out without you.

I wonder if the code 15 was still in the ECU memory from before I replaced the igniter, since I didn't reset it afterwards? In any event, it works now, so thanks again.

Jmalek's cranks. Yours doesn't (right?) So that makes it a different problem.

Check for dirty/corroded/loose connections on BOTH ends of the battery cables.

Default my 1992 accord lx is having the same problems as jmalek.

i pretty much tried everything that i could for my ignition change the plug wires, plugs, distributor and the main relay. i check all the fuses the volts going to the ignitor. i still have no spark at all. the mechanic told me it maybe the crank position sensor is bad or maybe it could be my ECU. I need an advise should i just pay for a new ECU or is there something else that i need to check.

When you try to start the car, does the starter motor spin the engine?

Default yap

yap its really the same thing as jmalek crank no spark. if your crank sensor is bad would it caused it not to have spark. the tech told me that iT could be a bad ECU. how do i checked my is ECU IF ITS GOOD OR BAD.
