Default Help with Black Out Tape!

Hello. I just bought a 2005 Accord V6 Coupe, black on black. Very nice car! I noticed that over each side window, the black out tape was starting to come off. I am not sure if this is stock or not.

So...I thought I'd peel it off. What a mistake. This stuff does NOT want to come off! So now, I have one side that is half on and half off and looks like crap.

Is this factory stock? Is there a better way to take this stuff off? How should I go about putting new black out on there?

Anyone know of a shop in the Dallas area that can do this?

Thanks!!!!!! This is for my daughters 16th birthday in one week and need to fix this soon!!!

No, not window tint. Sorry I wasn't clear. This is the black out tape or something on the chrome trim around the driver and passenger windows on the outside of the car.

The tape looking stuff on the doors and window trims is supposed to be there. The only chrome trim around the windows is on the actual car body and not the door.

I think you could find more blackout tape at an auto store or use electrical tape if you're desperate.

My 2003 did that and dealership replaced it and it came back years later. I just ignore it now.
