Help!! Dim dash lights and no start

Default Help!! Dim dash lights and no start

95 2.2 accord has new battery new starter was a automatic and is swapped has 100,000 miles and fresh timing, drove to work fine sat in it for lunch for about 45 min idle with heat on 2 went inside, came out to leave and car doesn’t start, dash lights are dim have 12 v but replaced battery due to its age, new starter, new ground cable since old was freying down below, all connections tight, no start dash lights dim the key ding sometimes works if it does off pitch before sounded fine, door lights dim pushed started the car home radio was on turned headlights on radio turned off any insight would help

This is a low voltage/low current problem. Since you have a volt meter, try some voltage drop tests on the + terminal to the + battery post on the engine bay fuse box. Do the same on the - battery post to negative post on the fuse box.

You said battery connections are tight. I had a negative battery post connection come loose when I used a boxed wrench, but the 10mm socket wrench got it much tighter.
