Ithink Ihave heard of a few tranny problems in the 03 & 04 models, but I think Honda resolved them. They were definitely not as prevalent as in the 98-00 models (or at least I haven't heard as much about them.) Try searching around on the forum. Or buy a manual trans car!

Aww freak..Realli...AWww what a bummer..Because my friend was tellin me his clutch had slipped on his 2000 thts why i was lookin 4 a auto..and he dosnt realli race...Well im goin to look around on the fourm...try to IM me on AIm or AOL..

Yea lol...But sum times he messes up and its stalls.

 

I haven't heard of any problems with the manual trans Honda's so your buddy's could just be an isolated event. Good luck on your search.
