Help My Check Engine Light Is Still On

Default Help My Check Engine Light Is Still On

Ok my check egine light came on about 3 weeks ago and I went to a local part store to have them check it out. It came back with the a code that stated that there was insufficent flow to the egr valve. So the guy at the part store suggest that I have the valve cleaned. So I had a mechanic take the egr valve off and clean it but there was no carbon found in valve. The mechanic later discovered that the egr valve wasn't turning so I ended up replacing the valve and my check engine light is still on. Can someone help me?

Most likely has a clogged egr port, i've cleaned out hundreds of em.

where is the port located ? do you know the price of getting it cleaned?

short pin #8 and #13 on the DLC and turn ignition on and count the times that the "check engine light blinks"

HOW TO OBTAIN TROUBLE CODES MANUALLY (6Th Gen Accord - V6 & I4)
1) Find the Data Link Connector (DLC) located under the instrument panel in the driver's side.
2) Jump terminals 8 and 13 by connecting them with a wire/cable.

DATA LINK CONNECTOR (DLC)

3) Turn the ignition key to ON and observe the "CHECK ENGINE" light. It will flash the trouble codes. For example: 2
long flashes, pause and then 3 short flashes = 23 = P0325 = Knock sensor circuit fault.
One short flash = 1. One long flash = 10. If there is no trouble codes, the light will not flash.

The codes that will not flash are as follows (will need code scanner):
P1607-PCM internal circuit failure and
P1705,06,38,39,53,68,73,91-Automatic transaxle failure

HOW TO CLEAR TROUBLE CODES (after fixing problem)
1) Remove ignition key (OFF)
2) Locate fuse panel on passenger's side (open door)
2) Remove fuse no. 13 (7.5 amp) for 10 seconds, and then place it back in.

shoulda guessed a j30....... yea 200 bucks, take it down to the honda shop its a kit they have to install, then youll be good to go

it might be covered under warranty if the car has less than 80K miles on it I got my car fixed under recall even though I was close to 8K past warranty date

My check engine light came on and when I took my car for a check the following codes came up: P1106, P0505 & P1457.
I observed that when the AC is on for a whilst the engine starts reving and when I turn it off it stop. And its obvious the engine is high from the sound.

Please can someone help me with the possible problem responsible for this codes and observation.
