HELP! OIL IN MY MUFFLER TIP!!!! ADVISE PLS!
I just bought this accord exi1996 model philippine version 2.0 engine none VTEC 2months ago, anyway i found some oil on the tip of my muffler every time i use it, the car drives well in ultra heavy traffic, no over heat, just some white smoke coming out of the muffler every morning then goes away after a few min. then just a week ago i observed that there was oil on the tip of my muffler...
could anybody advise me as to what to do or where to check? thanks!

It might just be carbon and water vaporcondensation that you are seeing, is the engine using a quart of oil a week?
Check the PCV valve in the valve cover?
Check the PCV valve in the valve cover?

the pcv is the one sticking out of the top of the valve cover... I don't recall what the test procedures are sorry.... I've cleaned them but never had to replace one.... I'm sure they are cheap even if you had to buy a new one....
I was at the dealer one day, and someone came in with one that did the samething, needed a rebuilt engine, it was about$1800.00 and if done at the dealer they willwarranty the engine. I have a 96 Accord EX-L with 192,000 and just had the selas replaced and the timing belt done.
