Default Help! Starting problem (Video)

I have a 98 accord v6 coupe. The issue I have is the car will not start on the first try. It doesn't matter the weather outside(hot or cold). If you cycle the key from on to off three times it does start right away. Once the car is running, its runs beautiful no issue at all.
I replaced the fuel pump and strainer.
Battery is new
No CEL

If any one can help me out with this I will try and test anything. I'm not use to honda's, I had a maxima for 6 years and any issue with it, the FSM for it saved my life, I cant find one for the accord 98 v6,

thank you in advance
brian

Possibly ignition switch problem. Some of the Accords in your year had ignition switch problems, IIRC there was a safety recall related to the ignition switch.

I don't think its the ignition switch, cause everything I see with that problem is the car shuting off. It will never stall or shut off when running

I'm going to put up a video tomorrow of the starting issue. It has done this since I got the car last year, it just has gotten so bad it always does it now.

Just turn the key to the II position and wait for the check engine light to do the bulb check (turns on for about two seconds). Then try to start the car.

Also, what maintenance items are due, like distributor cap, distributor rotor, spark plugs? If plugs are new, what spark plugs did you use?

Here is a video if i cycle the ignition. It starts the first try after I cycle it from off to On 4 times.

I have put a new battery in today and new spark plugs(NGK), its still doing it. Cap and rotor was good. Does anyone think the FPR would cause a issue like this?
