Default Hey i need some help... lack of spark on an 88 2bl accord

Ok so i have a very interesting situation... my moms 88 carborated accord died the other day. I was driving it headed back to her house and down the street it just shut down and would not start again... it cranks great but i am not getting any tac movment when cranking, and she only spits out one spark when you first start cranking... I tried replacing coil on a friends advice and same thing. so i returned it and tried replacing the dist... same thing.... Any advice where to start looking?

my buddy came over and we tested for signal comming from the dist., power at the coil, everything we could think of. everything seems to be proper but it's still just firing one spark when you first turn the key and nothing else...

One question first, is this a TEC or Hit dist....or another way, is the ICM on the outside of the dist?

Did you test the ICM.
