u might have to change the fuel filter i had a problem like that with a differnt car

 

You can't clean battery cables w/o removing the cables, cleaning posts and connections carefully, reinstalling, and securing.

FWIW, I had a head gasket on my 94EX w/ very subtle symptoms; slight miss on startup that cleared quickly and slow loss of coolant. I confirmed bad HG by removing the spark plugs when cold and turning engine over. Water sprayed from spark plug holes.

HG job on Accords is not a bad job. Get a shop manual.
