I have a 92 accord with a regular hid kit in it. I want to find some way to turn my low beams off when I turn my high beams on. Does anyone know what I could do to make it do this. I want my high beams to be green and the low beams to be blue but switch them on and off whenever I want.

 

That is going to be tricky, because the headlight switch on the steering column supplies power to the low beam even when the high beam is turned on. Plus I am not sure how the HID is wired either. You'd probably have to get very creative with wiring and relays to get this to work.

One thing to consider is if the colored lights are legal in your area. I know that blue lights are only allowed on emergency vehicles.

 

If only they made a ballast that you plug both low beam and high into one and that one ballast does the work
