Looking to add a little oomph to the 180K mileage engine by adding HEI. Did this with a Landcruiser got good results. Does anyone have any suggestions and sources of supply for this. I am not looking to build a street racer so entry level or mid-level HEI will suffice.

what car are you talking about?

 

1996 Accord LX 2.2L

 

I don't know what you will gain out of that kind of modification. I'm sure it has been done, but you are starting with 145 hp on a car that is designed as a daily driver. I'm not sure if it worth the investment.

There is a modification forum that you may get some better answers from people frequently on that board. The gen tech help is more for fixing car problems.
