Default High Pitched Sound??

i have a 2005 accord 4 cylinder, and i recently put an aftermarket exhaust and header on. When i step on the gas it sounds like a high pitched wooshing sound. It sounds like the car is going SHHHH really loud. Its not having any negative effect but its pretty annoying and i would like to make it stop doing that. Does anyone know what is making that noise? I have a megan racing exhaust and a cheap ebay header.

Do you do any changes to the air intake system, that is the first thing I think of with the kind of noise you describe or a vacuum hose left off?

nope intake is on fine. i think it might be the header, so im going to swap it with the stock one and see if that fixes the noise, but how would i go about checking for an exhaust leak?

From what ive heard about the ebay headers, it probably that leaking. I would say its exhaust leak. did you put all the gaskets in. just listen and feel around for for leaks, should be pretty obvious when you get under there. (dont actually feel the pipe, just around it) have someone rev it up a little while youre looking.
