The d4 light blinks really fast and the gear won't shift from the park position. Tried replacing all the solenoids abd main relay and added a used transmission because old one got bad. Been having this problem for over a year now. Need someone that can tell if the tcu or tcm ecu is bad. And if it is there someone that can fix it. Iam in Hayward , CA.

First get the TCU code that is present (D4 light blinking means a code is set).

Short service check connector, turn keyswitch to On, and watch the D4 blinks. One long blink, followed by code where Long Flash (F) =10 and short flash (f) =1. So flashes F-ffff = 14, a long pause will separate multiple codes or repeat of same code.

Post code for guidance.

Failure of gear shift to move can be simple; brake light not working or mis-adjusted lock-out solenoid, or faultly keyswitch. What happens when you bypass the lockout w/ a key in the bypass opening?

good luck
