Honda Accord 1995 Starter Contact points

Without actually hearing it I really can't say. If the starter mated all the way up there isn't much "you" could do wrong. I'd take the car back to advance and have them listen to it....

Starters we make a hideous sound if the gear is too close to the flywheel. I have never done a V6 Honda did it have shims?

I think it is a good idea to ask advance guys to look (hear) at it once.

Thanks Poorman212 & Kris.
The sound went off by itself. I don't why, but it is starting well now.

I am really thankfull and appreciate everyone in hondaaccordforum. Midas asked $480 and Carx $450 to do the same thing which I done with $135 + 3 hour labor (my free time so it costs nothing), $90 for starter, after discount and $45 for new tool kit.

I assure you that I will also help someone in my area (Computers).
