Hello,

Can someone please point me to where I can find accord 96 front bumper vertical dimensions? That includes clearance from the ground, height of the bumper, position of the license plate bolts. A profile view schematic with all the vertical dimension arrows and inches of the car frontal area would be ideal. I couldn't find anything online, nor by approching Honda Corp / dealerships/ body shops.

Can you explain what you are trying to solve?

 

• Ground clearance of the Accord is 6.3 inches. (Source: service manual and internet)

• Overall body width is 70.1 inches (Source: service manual and Honda owner owner website)
• OEM bumper has no bolt holes for the front license plate. A license plate mounting kit with bolts and nut clips are used to hold a base plate; IRRC, there may be slits on the underside of the bumper lower air duct to use the bolts and nut clips.

Height of bumper or bumper dimensions are not shown in Honda service repair manual or Honda body repair manual.
