Default Honda Accord 2001 w/ misfire codes

185,000 miles. Throwing codes p1399, p0300 thru p0304. I replaced plugs and it didnt help. The issue is the car will stall when stopping then have trouble starting back up. I have to give it some gas to restart after stall. It idles fine at initial start (like in the morning on my way to work) but if I drive for a while then stop (rush hour traffic) the RPMs will drop then stall. Can anyone please give some info? Trying to avoid replacing distributor and wires if that isnt the problem.

changed the wires too, cap, and rotor but still the problems. Its also hard to start now in general. When I accelerate the car is struggling for fuel. Could it be a fuel pump or fuel filter issue?

You need to do some testing before throwing parts at the problem.

When you say the car is hard to start, what do you mean exactly? Does the starter spin the engine at a normal rate? Or does it take a long time for the engine to fire up (run on its own, where you can release the key)?

Once the engine is running, try shaking the key. Does this cause the car to stall out?

The starter is fine. I have to give it has for it to turn on. Once on the car idles rough. If I give it gas the car has trouble recovering once the fuel retreats and rpms dip. Which is why I was thinking fuel pump or filter.

Just me, but I'm leaning towards the egr system.

Either the port in the intake is clogged and or the valve is hanging open. So I would think about cleaning both the valve and the port.
