Default Honda Accord Auto 2002 5 door hatch 2.0i

Hello. I am trying to sort an Air Con problem and need to understand if the Compressor clutch engagement can be seen from the outside of the pulley. In other words, As the AC Compressor if underneath the Alternator it is not easy to diagnose the clutch problem so I was wondering it the Inside of the pulley ( which is only just visible ) does NOT turn if the AC is OFF. Any guidance would be appreciated Thanks John

When AC is turned OFF, the face of the clutch (inner part not pulley) will stop turning. Compressor also cylces on/off during AC operation.

good luck
