Does your car have two zones where you can set the driver and passenger side temperature?

Most likely culprit is the driver's side air blend motor. It could also be the hvac controls, a wiring issue, or the air blend door is stuck/broken.

If you want some tests to try, I'd highly recommend purchasing the 03-06 shop manual on automanualsource.com for ~$22. It is well worth the investment for DIYers. We can help supplement any tests you'd have.

You can try the "caveman" test by hitting the motor while changing to max cool (mix motor attached and plugged in) to see if the motor moves the blend doors. You'll most likely have to pull the driver's air mix motor and move the linkage to see if it moves freely. A volt meter or test light can help identify if you have a wiring problem.
