Honda batteries any good?

So, is the battery one "seller" offers, different or better than the battery another "seller" offers, even if they are both made by Johnson Controls? All of them seem to be a little different, with respect to the stated CCA and reserve power. Is deciding on one battery over another, based on CCA and reserve power the best way to compare them? Would you rather have a maintenance free battery, or one with caps?

No they are the same. Just who decides to out "what label" on them - CCA and reserve. Of course they can't go over the true output.
At work, we get our batteries from east penn currently. As part of the acquisition, we will soon get our automotive batteries from JCI - Heavy duty batteries (8D, 31, ect) will still come from east penn.
Yes, compare the CCA and reserve and warranty and make the best decision you can.
