How to change the gear shift panel light bulb?
I have 2007 accord. The gear shift panel (not in dash. It is next to shift ****) light bulb is out. I would like to change it myself because dealership will charge me $125 to do this work.
I have taken out the top plastic panel, then no ideas how to do the next?
Any instructions will be highly appreciated!

I think I am almost there (see the new attachment for the components), but my question is I just simply pull the 'Red/BLK' stuff out? or I will need to take the piece#13 out first?

Just did on 2008 accord EXL Removed console cover and disconnected seat heater switch and 12V power wires. Then found was easier to remove the shifter handle and take the gear indicator cover off You may have to loosen/lengthen the two wires that go to the bulb holder under the gear indicator cover (#14). With the shifter handle off, see thumbnail (cover and 2 phillips screws) you can turn the shifter cover #14 over to get at the bulb holder. 2008 was a counter clockwise twist off slotted holder for the bulb. #2721 LL Sylvania. Replaced bulb (a bit difficult due to small size of bulb) Checked bulb functionality by turning on park lights and replaced holder in gear indicator cover. Had to use needle nose pliers to turn bulb holder clockwise and lock into position. Replaced shifter cover, and shift handle. Reconnected seat heater and 12V power wires. Replaced console cover and key shifter release cover and ops checked. Hope this assists other 2008 accord owners as I had to research several earlier/later videos for removal of shift lever and bulb.
