how to fix cigarette lighter fuse 2010 honda accord
Hi Accord experts,
I think my 2010 Accord cigarette is short-fused and need some help.
This past weekend we had power outage form the Irene hurricane. I have a car AC DC converter that I plugged into my 2010 Accord front cigarette lighter. When I turned on the AC DC converter I saw a flash of the green light on the converter and then heard a "poof" sound, and the light went off. Since then the cigarette lighter does not work any more. I think I short-fused the lighter...
Do you think that's what happened? And could you please help me with some advice on how to fix / replace it?
Thank you so much.
Regards.

Fuse....I did almost the same thing on the 07 Pilot, I'm just glad I had a new inverter "in the wings" this weekend. Again, using the Pilot as a ref, yours could be different, under hood, by the brake master cyl, small fuse box...check there.
Hope you and family are ok.

klopez81-If you don't have the owners manual, you can sign up to Honda's "Owners Link" and from there you can download the owners manual. This should give you the fuse box locations and which one has the fuse for the outlet. Again mine was in the Pilot, rear seat outlet. That fuse was where I said it was.

Same car
I pulled the fuse and it looked good but I put the meter on it just to confirm; good. Still no power at either outlet. Any suggestions? Thank you.
