Default How much would rewiring my '97 accord lx cost?

I have to get electric work done to the entire car, except the engine wiring (thats ok), but there are random wires cut or not working for there purpose. so i was wondering if anyone had any clue about how much a garage would carge me and if it is worth it?

You'll have to call around for quotes. A new wiring harness will be expensive.

Where on the wiring harness is messed up?

You may be better off finding a recently wrecked 97 accord at a junkyard and get the wire harness off of it and install it yourself. You may be able to find one on Ebay.

You will have to remove the console, radio, bezel, gauge cluster, etc. to easily access and route the new harness. It isn't too hard to do.

it is best to take it to a shop and have them give you an estimate.........
if a lot of wires are cut it might be better replacing wiring harnesses

It probably wont be cheap, I would supply the harness yourself from a junkyard or off ebay or something. I imagine a shop would charge you 3 or 4 hours labor for it. So $200-400 depending on the shops hourly rate.
