How should a 05' Accord automatic trans feel?
I feel a little uneasy with my recent purchase: 2005 Accord EX, 4cylinder automatic transmission.
I’m fairly concerned with the smoothness of its automatic transmission; when I slightly accelerate 1st and 2nd gear sometimes feel a little jerky to me, 3rd and latter gears feel just fine. The quicker I accelerate the smoother it is.
Maybe I am being too picky, but I just feel like the transmission should be of a nicer shifting quality. The car feels to shift fine during quick acceleration; however, being in the city of Indianapolis, and my driving habit, I often accelerate in ease.
Is this the way the Honda is, or should I have some concern? I know this may be hard for someone else to judge, but how does your 2004+ automatic transmission favor?
