I have a 4 cyl 2.2L engine in my 99 accord, but everywhere I go to look at performance parts or just plain replacement stock parts for my engine and on just about every website that I go to, the only engine option for the 4 cyl is the 2.3L. Did Honda only make a few 2.2L 99 accords or what? Any info would be greatly appreciated, thank you for all your help!

 

There are no stock 2.2L engines in the 98-02 accords. They are all 2.3L (F23).

If you look on the engine block to the passenger side of the front motor mount, there should be a stamp on the engine block. It will be F23?? or F22??. What are the first four digits stamped on your block?
