Default I have two problems regarding my 1994 Honda Accord EX

The first is dealing with my water pump. Firestone told me that my water pump was leaking. However, the engine isn't overheating and I have no steering problems. Maybe I should get a second opinion on it.

The second is my oil. Recently had the oil pan gasket changed and the oil changed. Yet, the oil light is lighting up. I checked the dipstick. Plenty of oil and not losing anything. Checked underneath the car. Dry as a bone. Is the oil sending unit going bad, or is the water pump problem related to the oil pressure?

Unsure of what to do.

Water pump shouldn't have anything to do with steering.

Failed oil-pressure-switch is possible. I don't see where waterpump is related to that.

Agreed, like jimblake said water pump has nothing to do with steering and shouldnt have any thing to do with the oil pressure but from what your describing it does sound like the oil pressure switch which if im not mistaken should right around the oil filter on the back side of the motor i believe
