Default I need help

So I have a 1998 Honda Accord v6 and about a week ago I drove my car to a friends house an when I parked the car I noticed a huge puddle of fluid under it I popped the good and it was power steering fluid? So we started it again and the power stearing want working and u could hear the ps pump grinding and it still overflowed again popping off the reservoir cap off and over flowed again. I just replaced the power steering pump to day and its still not working right the power steering goes in and out and still pops off the cap and leaks out. I have no clue what to do here can anyone offer some advice??

Sounds like air is getting into the system and causing the issue. Check the lines (all of them) for leaks.

Especially check the low-pressure hose that goes directly from the bottom of the reservoir to the pump. That's the only one that would have suction. Otherwise you'd have fluid leaking out, not air sucking in.

Check & clean the PS fluid reservoir. In the bottom of the reservoir is a fine mesh screen, usually submerged in the fluid. If that's blocked with crud, it makes it more likely for the system to suck air in.
