Default I need a lumbar support in my LX

Hi,

Just bought a 2005 Accord LX 4d. Love it, except for the lack of lumbar support in the diver's seat.

I'd like to go to the junk yard and pull a lumbar seat out of a crashed accord. Any ideas what years and models would have a lumbar support and be a direct swap. I don't need a power seat, but if that would bolt in and if the power is already run to the seat, that would be o.k. I just don't want to try and run power.
So what years and models have non-power lumbar seats that bolt in a 2005 Accord?

thanks

The 03-07 accords are the same generation, so they should work. You will need a sedan seat if you own a sedan. A coupe seat for a coupe. A site like car-part.com will show you donor cars with identical parts. If it is not identical, it could still bolt into your car. I don't know the subtle differences.

I think that the EX accords have lumbar support, but I am not sure if they are all electric seats. You may be able to swap the seat backs between your LX and the seat back that has the lumbar support.

thanks,

I would like to pull the seat, take it to the junk yard and trade it in, w/some cash.

How do I pull the seat? The bolts are easy, it's the airbags and electronics that scare me.
It had side airbags.
What about the srs, radio codes and battery. I don't know how to get my radio code and someone said something about resetting the srs (whatever that is)

Any thoughts? Thanks again

Sounds to me you would be better off with a lumbar pillow instead of a new seat.
I think finding another one, same color, same model, from a wrecked Honda that hasn't had the airbags blown off already is going to be much harder than buying a lumbar pillow.
