Default Idle Questions

I own a 2000 Honda Accord EX sedan 4 cyl., A/T. When I start the car after it's fully warmed up there is an initial, momentary drop in idle RPMs below 750 then it quickly recovers to it's normal idle speed of ~ 750. My mechanic says that this fluctuation is normal. Secondly, when I'm stopped with the A/C on the idle sounds weak and rough as if the car wants to stall ( but hasn't done so yet ). Normal or what ? Thanks for any advice.

Try going through the base idle setting & learning procedure.

If the base idle is slightly off, it still can idle at the right RPM but it won't always control properly when loads like A/C switch on & off.
