Ignition Switch??
I have a 1992 Honda Accord EX. The horn has a intermittent problem that only seems to happen in the summer time. I have taken it the mechanic and the dealer several times and the problem still happens. Also, the other day when I started the car, the car wouldn't shift out of park. I had to use the release shift lock switch to get the car out of PARK. Also, a few times I was able to take the key right of of the ignition while the car was still running.
I was told the horn is grounded to the ignition and there is probably a bad ground. Could all these issues be the cause of a worn out ignition switch? Also, what is the average cost of replacing an ignition? Thanks.

Sorry, at face value I see this as three different issues.
Horn, I'd check the clock spring. When warm the steer wheel will expand and that. The horn sounds when groung is passed by the button to the horn....there is no link between the horn ground and the ign switch. EDIT: on the 4th gen they call if a "slip ring" and not a "clock spring"
Shifting, are the brake lights working?
Key, sounds like the key switch (different than the ign switch, I know sounds strange but they are different) is getting worn out.
