Unhappy Immobilizer blues

For a week and a half, I've been reading about the immobilizer in my car hoping to find a solution so I don't have to take my car to the dealership. I just bought a 98 Honda Accord EX V6 and LOVE my car, but somehow my anti theft activated and I'm without words how troubled I am! I am curious if anyone out there knows about the 5x flashing green key after key is out of ignition, and no crank no start. Battery, fuses, fuel pump all checks out fine. Any advice helps. Please!!!

If the Immobilizer light is blinking, then it may be due to a weak battery or the Immobilizer System is not recognizing the key transponder. Check the battery first.

If it is not the battery and was an issue with the Immobilizer System, they make emulator boards for less than $20. But, it does involve removing the PCM (located under dash center console), then opening it up. Then some de-soldering and re-soldering.

This is an emulator board: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Immo-Emulat...cAAOSw7gZa6ssc

Installation instructions and board type for your Accord is the second type at the bottom of these instructions.
