Cool Installing new spoiler for my 2008 Accord |New |Forum

I brought a Spoiler from ebay and it will arrive in 4-5 days, I was wondering if anyone installed the spoiler on their own. Please let me know any good resources/instructions. I have all the equipment necessary like the drill etc..

I have a 2008 Honda Accord 4Dr(Polished Metal Metallic)..

Thanks

I have never installed an aftermarket wing, but hundreds of OEMs.
Measure , measure and measure. Then you can use a pencil to mark things as it won't stay on the painted surfaces.
When drilling thru sheet metal the drill bit will tend to grab and twist the metal as it goes thru, so light pressure on the drill is best.
Even though the OEM kits had rubber sealing grommets, I always added Hondabond sealer to ensure a leak free seal where the bolts go thru the sheetmetal.

Thanks HondaDude, I will keep in mind ur advice on drilling. The aftermarket Wing came with some long strips of stickers and I found in youtube on how to use them to mark the drilling spots on the deck lid.
