Default Installing a Universal Central Locking System on my DX

I bought a Universal Central lock kit on ebay auto and have installed it on my 1997 Accord/4 door. However I am having a few problems.

I have wired the power, however, only the lock button works on both of the keyless fobs that came with the kit. I noticed that if my driver door is unlocked and push the lock button, SOMETIMES it will unlock the other doors. I dont know if this is how it should work or not, since there were no instructions that came with the kit. I would like to be able to unlock all the doors without having to unlock the driver door if possible.

On the central reciever unit, there is a brown and white wire that on the diagram say to attach to "vehicle hull" (see diagram that came with the kit below) I assume that should go to a switch of some kind to lock/unlock unit which is possibly optional, and believe that they are in some way involved.

What I am wondering is: Can I get the unlock button to work without installing said switch? If not, how difficult would it be to install a power locking switch into a DX model?

I think the brown and white wire connects to the Security System Connector. It's usually an orange wire on that year, but it's optional wouldn't affect anything.

I believe the brown and white wires are used if you had a remote alarm system, so that you can use the remotes on the alarm to control the door locks instead of the remote that came with the central locking system kit. The brown and white wires are optional.

Good to know. Any ideas then on why the unlock button on both fobs are not working?
