Issue w/ spark plugs, wires, etc...

I have a '94 Accord Lx that's been having some hiccups of late. I recently just replaced the spark plug wires but now these new ones have been giving me issues. The second wire from the left has been popping out causing the engine to skip BUT as it turns out the spark plug was loose so by tightening it should this problem no longer happen? Also the second spark plug from the right is covered in oil. Now this is the only area where this occurs. The spark plug is not loose but for good measure we took it out, cleaned it, and put it back in. Now by this perchance being loose, would it be the cause of oil escaping and collecting in the area?
If oil is collecting above (where the wire plugs in), then the upper seals of the valve cover need replaced.
Most parts stores sell them as a set so you will replace the seal on the engine block and the seals for the spark plug tubes. You will also need to pick up some RTV. I think that Permatex RTV Grey is the equivalent of what the honda dealership uses.
The online manuals thread in the DIY section has links to sites with a 94 shop manual that has all of the details.

I changed the plug wires on my 94 Accord, but could not get one of them to connect correctly on the plug, ended up putting the original OEM wires back on. Maybe when you change the upper valve cover seals (which is not a hard job), go back with the original wires and see how it runs.
