Default j series build questions

Ok, so I've been gathering parts for awhile now and i'm just about ready for my first j series build. I have a set of j32a2 heads minus cams (hey it was free) and a j35a4 long block. I've been doing a lot of reading and only have a few questions. I know that you can use acura pistons to clear the valves but then you get somewhere between 10.5 and 11.5 compression depending on which pistons you use. That's just a little high for me. I have read that j30a3 pistons can be used and have enough clearance and keep compression down around 9.8 Has anyone ever used them to know for sure?
