I just purchased a used 06 accord EX'LV. Only owned it a couple days but so far really like it. I am trying to decide if I should spend the 1300 on extended warranty since the car has 22k on it but outside factory warranty.

Are there common issues with car that would make a 6yr 60k warranty worth the $$?

 

Automatic tranny? That might be the reason for an extended warranty.

 

Yup, it is automatic. Is that a weak link? Is is just a daily driver so car will not be hammered.

 

I'm not a fan of autos, so not an expert. It IS a weak spot for 98-02, I don't know about later years. I'd search around here for threads about auto-trans problems to see whether any of that includes anything near 2006.
