Hi all,

My key-less entry to my 2006 Honda Accord is working sporadically, any ideas what could be causing that?

I click the unlock button on the key and the doors do not unlock. Wait about 10 seconds, start clicking again and the doors do unlock. I know it is not the key as I replaced the battery and can tell the key is sending a signal, also tried my other key with the same result.

Possibly a problem with the driver's master switch. The receiver antenna for the keyless system is located in the power window master switch (door multiplex control unit).

Would you suggest I replace the driver's master switch? Or the multiplex control unit?

 

The driver's door multiplex control unit is part of the driver's master switch.
