I have a 2012 4 cyl that has been running super and now I put the key in the ignition and I can not turn it to start the car. Any help is much appreciated.

It may be the steering lock. Try turning and holding the steering wheel, and then turn the ignition key. Don't force anything.

 

I remember my mom and I swapped cars for a weekend when mine was stuck with a repair back home. She called me up the next day in the grocery store parking lot all annoyed cuz she couldn't get the key to turn or the steering to unlock. She was at it for 5, 10 minutes.

Its tricky when you first have it happen but get used to it when you gotta do it multiple times. I slowly turn the wheel to the right while turning the key until it unlocks. Works every time.

 

Ended turning the wheel to the left and was able to get it to unlock. Thanks for the help!!!
