Hello,

Can some one tell me what the three buttons on my keychain remote does. I got a 1994 Accord EX-R and I want to make sure it is working properly. I just bought the ride and the remote was dead, I put a battery in is and it works but only one botton (the top one) does soemthing. It locks and unlocks my doors What do the other 2 buttons do. This will help me figure out where my problem is. Maybe it is a bad remote.

Hi, I am looking on the back and it says Honda Remote COntrol Transmittter. It definitely looks like it is Honda. It is black with 3 grey touch buttons running down vertically. I may be able to get a picture later. Thanks!!!

 

my guess would be that if one button unlocks AND locks your doors, the other buttons will prolly be 'panic' and a trunk popper... both of which would require you to press and hold for 2-3 seconds... try holding down either for a couple of seconds to see if anything happens... good luck...

OK, this is odd.

Button 1 = Lock / Unlock
Button 2 = ???? seem to do the same a button 1 does this make sense
Button 3 = Beeps the horn once and apparently sets the security alarm

Surprised there is no trunk poper.

Does any one own a 94 EX-R with this remote? Can you please comment?
