Anyone know if the 1996 EX V6 came standard with keyless entry? The only site I found with specs says "N/A" but it also says "N/A" next to a couple of other features that I have on my car.
Maybe a stoooopid question but just thought I'd ask. Please don't diss the noob.
Thanks!

Mine came with a keychain remote, but has not worked under my ownership. I will read up and repost later. This morning I cut the wires to an alarm type horn which was mounted on the crossbrace in the engine bay. The removal was a result of other threads involving weight reduction and fuel economy. I think the remote was for an aftermarket alarm perhaps.
my LX is set up for keyless entry, but doesnt have anything plugged in (except for my aftermarket one). I wouldnt be surprised either way with yours. I dont think so, I think the keyless was only on the EX-R, and other rare intl models.
You can find out by going under the steering column, and looking near the top towards the door. taped to the top of a bunch of wires using blue tape is a small electrical connector with 3 plugs, and 3 wires going to it the wires are orange, black, and black/white. That connector plugs into a stock keyless entry system and controls the door locks. If you can find it, and its not plugged into anything, you dont have keyless entry. If you cant find it, look harder. It is NOT easy to find. If you still cant find it, look for a box (controller) that has the connector plugged into it. It will be near the top, close to the door. When you find the plug, with exactly that number and colors of wires going to it, and it IS plugged into a box, you have stock keyless. If you find it and it ISNT plugged into anything, you dont have stock keyless entry. If you cant find it, look harder. Its there. Its present on ALL 96 accords.
the only reason it wouldnt be there, is if there was at one time an aftermarket alarm/keyless installed, and they spliced into those wires to control the door locks, and cut the connector off.
